Fifth week ( 25/08/2025 - 29/08/2025)

A Week of Celebration and Togetherness
August 29, 2025

Week 5 was a truly memorable one, marked by examinations, festivities, and moments of heartfelt joy that brought the entire school community closer.

Monday & Tuesday – Examinations with Dedication
The week opened with the Onam examinations, conducted in a calm and orderly manner. Both students and teachers approached the assessments with diligence and cooperation, ensuring that the process unfolded seamlessly.

Wednesday – A Colorful Onam Celebration
Midweek carried the spirit of Onam into the school with vibrant celebrations. The atmosphere brimmed with cheer as traditional games were held, filling the campus with energy and laughter. A highlight of the day was the Thiruvathira performance by teachers and trainee teachers, in which I was fortunate to take part. Witnessing the students’ joy and appreciation for the performance was deeply rewarding, fostering a sense of cultural pride and togetherness that lingered throughout the day.

Thursday – Honoring Ayyankali Jayanthi
Thursday was observed as a holiday in remembrance of Ayyankali Jayanthi, a significant day to honor the remarkable contributions of the great social reformer.

Friday – Teacher’s Day with Onam Sadhya
The week concluded with a delightful blend of Teacher’s Day celebrations and the festive spirit of Onam. A sumptuous Onam Sadhya was arranged, filling the occasion with warmth and tradition. Adding to the joy, SPC (Student Police Cadet) students, who were on camp at school, surprised us with a thoughtful Teacher’s Day treat. Since the actual Teacher’s Day coincided with the Onam holidays, this celebration made the occasion even more cherished.

Closing Thoughts
Week 5 beautifully combined academic dedication with cultural festivities, making it one of the most enriching and heartwarming weeks of my training journey so far.
