Week 3 ( 24/11/2025 - 28/11/2025)
Week 3 Reflection – Second Phase Teaching Practice
The third week of my second phase teaching practice was both meaningful and memorable. During this week, I continued my classes in 8A, where I taught the iconic speech “Tryst with Destiny” by Jawaharlal Nehru. Introducing this historic piece to the learners was a rewarding experience. The class responded with curiosity and enthusiasm, especially when we discussed India’s freedom and Nehru’s vision for the nation. Their active participation made the learning space lively and engaging.
In addition to my regular classes, I also handled substitution periods, which gave me a chance to interact with other classes and understand different learning patterns. These opportunities strengthened my confidence and classroom management skills.
This week also marked the last week of our November teaching practice, making it a time of mixed emotions. There was a sense of accomplishment for completing another phase of teaching, along with gratitude for the students who made the experience fulfilling. Each day helped me grow as a teacher — from planning lessons to responding spontaneously during class. Overall, Week 3 deepened my understanding of teaching and reaffirmed my commitment towards becoming an efficient educator.
